This October Pivotal are delighted to be taking part in YMCA Bournemouth’s Big Sleep Easy Event on Saturday 14 October 2023.
The event offers a fantastic challenge to Pivotal colleagues who wish to help raise awareness of the hardships of homelessness, raise money for the homeless and demonstrate a commitment to the local homeless community.
Participants wrap up warm, build a cardboard shelter and then ‘sleep rough so others don’t have to’. The concept has proven very popular with individuals, groups, businesses and local schools taking part as fundraisers bed down under the stars for the night. Sheena Dayman, Events Manager at YMCA Bournemouth said “One night can make a lifetime of difference”.
Over the past five years, the ‘Big Sleep Easy’ has seen donations over £100,000. All funds raised help those in need achieve independent living and secure a safe and positive long-term future.
