Results are in from our Pivotal 2022 residents’ survey

The purpose of our Residents’ Survey is to obtain detailed feedback so we can monitor, evaluate and improve the services and activities we provide or signpost our residents to.

Our questionnaire also invited residents to add ‘any further comments’, for example regarding the condition of their accommodation, and more than half of all respondees chose to do so.

Residents were invited to identify ‘any staff member who has stood out and provided an excellent service’. 74% named at least one member of staff, with many saying “all staff”.

Comments included “staff go out of their way to support me” and “every member of staff is fantastic”, “I trust them all” and “went out of their way to help me, made me feel positive and helped me stay calm, I’m actually happy again.”

Other descriptions included “kind”, “understanding”, “listens”, “welcoming” and “friendly”.

Our support team should be proud of the comments received and that they are rated so highly by our residents.

All comments, positive and negative, major and minor, will be reviewed and used to help us identify and address specific issues and continue to improve.

The activities residents told us they are most interested in are gardening, cookery workshops and help with digital skills. Actions following on from this will include initiating projects or activities at specific locations and signposting residents to local projects and/or partner organisations.
